Who is Mitchel Kirchmeyer?
What an excellent question! That is, if you have an interest in who I am and not just my website, what I write, and what I create. Well it would probably be appropriate to discuss the two main areas of my life that this site portrays and exhibits. I just graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a Bachelor’s of Science majoring in Web and Digital Media Development. Phew, that was a mouthful! Besides just graduating with a degree in web and digital media development, I am also passionate about it. I enjoy both design and programming.
The other aspect of this site that speaks to a particular part of my life is the Jesus following side which namely shows up in the blog. I have been around the church my whole life but I think a sincere and deep pursuit of my faith didn’t come around until I was in college. Through this journey of learning who God is and what it looks like to have Him in my life there have been bright and joyful times, but there have also been dark and doubting times. Through both I have experienced growth and remained faithful to my belief that God exists and he came to earth in the form of a man named Jesus Christ who died for the sins of mankind so that we might experience the Father in the fullest sense.
This site is really a medium for me to display and share what I am passionate about. So if you would like to see what that may be, feel free to take a look around.
